The Balboa Island Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on Sunday, December 1st. The Balboa Island Fire Station at Marine Avenue and Park Avenue will play host to this sparkling event. Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at 4PM to kick off this two hour celebration. The tree lighting will take place at dusk. This magical event will be completed with snow for the children to play in. There will be cookies, popcorn, candy and cider for the kids. Christmas carols will be sung throughout the evening. Balboa Island’s pubs, restaurants and hotels will be having holiday specials throughout the season.
