The Orange County Museum of Art is hosting the Cinema Orange movie series. This is the ninth annual season of this independent movie series. The Cinema Orange season was organized by Leslie Feibleman from the Newport Beach Film Festival. This series is dedicated to independent film makers that are exploring art, design and cultural icons. The September 5th movie is Coast Modern directed by Mike Bernard and Gavin Froome. This fifty six minute movie examines the legacy of architects on the West Coast from Vancouver BC to Los Angeles. The Modernism style is the focus of the discussion. The documentary follows several architects as discuss geography and dwellings during this period. Dion Neutra, James Steele, John Cava are among the many people interviewed in this film. There will a food truck on site for visitors to enjoy from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. This evening the food truck will be StuffNit Burger.
