The second production in the Vanguard University Lyceum Theater 2013-2014 season will be beginning shortly. Dancing at Lughnasa, A Drama will premiere on Friday October 25th. Dancing at Lughnasa, is a drama about boyhood memories and dreams. The play is written by Brian Friel and this production is directed by Susan Berkompas. The story focuses on a man’s childhood memories from a small town in rural Ireland in 1936. The man reflects on his mother and her four sisters. There is live flute, harp, and violin music and dancing. The play runs from October 25th to Sunday November 3rd. Vanguard University Lyceum Theater is located in nearby Costa Mesa. Tickets are $14. This performance is for teens and older.
