The Hutchins Consort will be performing Bach and Rock. On Sunday, February 5th, The Hutchins Consort will be performing at St. Mark Presbyterian Church. Maksim Velichkin will be playing piano for this performance. The ensemble plays the works of Johann Sebastian Bach with the rock influence of Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and other legendary rock bands. Hutchins Consort is a violin octet which performs on scaled violins from the smallest treble violin, which is one octave higher than a standard violin to a large bass violin which is one octave lower than a cello. The concert begins at 3pm. Tickets are $35 for individuals and $60 for family packages. St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church is located at 2200 San Joaquin Hills Road in Newport Beach.
