When selling your home during the winter months, use home staging to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Most staging techniques are used to make the space look larger and brighter, in the winter, it is important that the space feel warmer, as well. An example would be creating a cozy seating area in front of the fireplace. This not only draws attention to this home feature, but shows potential buyers a way to use the home during a cold winter night. In addition, add accessories in warm colors such as deep reds and caramels.
