Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce is honoring the 2013 Newport Beach Citizen of the Year, on November 15, 2013. The Balboa Bay Resort will host this dinner-dance evening event. The 2013 Newport Beach Citizen of the Year is Jean Watt. Jean Watt has been instrumental in bringing environmental issues to the forefront in Newport Beach, heading up (SPON) Stop Polluting Our Newport. The evening will include butler passed hors d’oeuvres, a three course dinner with wine, no-host cocktail bar and live entertainment and dancing. Cocktails begin at 6pm and dinner and dancing begins at 7pm. The event is $125 per person or a table of ten is $1,250.
