The Newport Beach Civic Center is hosting the Newport Beach Concerts on the Green series this year. The next concert will take place on Sunday, July 12th from 6pm to 7:30pm. The 2015 Concerts on the Green series is presented by the Newport Beach City Arts Commission. Bring a picnic dinner, beach blankets and chairs and sit back, relax and enjoy the music. The July 12th concert, the 2nd concert of the summer, Sligo Rags will be performing. They are a Celtic Bluegrass fusion band, who has been named one of the top acoustic bands in Los Angeles by Folkworks Magazine. There will be two more concerts during the summer, one in August and one in September. Also, the Arts Commission is beginning their search for 2016 concert performers.
