The Newport to Ensenada International Yacht Race will take place Friday, April 22nd through Sunday, April 24th. The race start can be viewed from the Balboa Pier. The main race begins in Newport Beach and has over 200 vessels. The race gets underway at 11am with a different class starting every ten minutes. This year there will be a short course starting from Shelter Island at 5pm. The short course is 62 miles and the traditional course is 125 miles. With having both courses, the NOSA goal is to include as many boats and boat types possible. This is an overnight race to Ensenada Mexico. This is one of the largest international races in the world.
