Sherman Library and Gardens is offering a Parent and Me art class on Saturday, August 13th from 9:30am to 10:30am. The Peacock Orchid class will teach families to create a picture using step by step watercolor techniques to create the vase portion of the artwork. Then create the flowers using model magic clay. This class will be held in the outdoor classroom, prior to the opening of the garden. The instructor will be local artist Erna Van Dyk. All materials will be provided. The cost is $25 for members and $30 for non-members. No experience necessary.
