When you are considering selling your home, update the master bedroom to a style which appeals to both genders. You never know who will be a potential buyer or the home purchaser, so create a neutral space which appeals to the majority of lookers.  Start by de-cluttering and de-personalizing the space, next paint the walls a neutral color, such as caramel or ivory.  Add a hint of color with throw pillows or a colorful bedspread or duvet cover. Add a vase of fresh cut flowers to a side table.
